12.6 MW Wind Farm (2003)
The St Lucian Government hopes to have a 12.6MW grid-connected wind farm in operation by 2011. The island’s energy provider, LUCELEC, and its Canadian partner, The Probyn Group (owner, operator and financier of independent power facilities), have completed feasibility assessments for the site on the island’s north-east coast.
