National Energy Policy (2009)
- Since 2005, the policy was under development through the establishment of a National Energy Committee.
- Policy approved March 2009
- In July 2009, several multi-stakeholders’ consultations were held leading up to the development of the policy- included government representatitive, the electricity utility VINLEC, non-profit organizations, the private sector, academia, civil society and regional international experts.
